Circa is a poetic collision of varying emotional and technological elements, stemming from an anthropology of menstruation. Circa means “around” in Latin, it represents uncertainty of precision; it exists for life forms but it has a right to precise its time itself. This is a circle, a sphere; a contour of closed curve, a space. The short film depicts the relationship of our biological rhythm and a digital period tracker application within spatial approach. The research behind the film questions how being able to use an application specifically oriented to women make users gain dominance on their bodies and how these applications grow the sense of community in women that makes them feel more comfortable and confident.
