Mimaroğlu Remix Project is a collaborative audiovisual project bringing together visual artists and musicians around previously unseen 8mm footage from the personal archive of composer İlhan Mimaroğlu.

Digitized during the making of the documentary Mimaroğlu (2020), these archival fragments became the starting point for a series of new moving-image and sound works. Curated by Dilek Aydın and Serdar Kökçeoğlu, the project invited artists to engage with Mimaroğlu’s visual legacy through contemporary interpretations.

For the project, S. Buse Yıldırım created an experimental short video in collaboration with musician Suat Armağan Koçak, exploring memory, rhythm, and the material qualities of archival images.
